All major construction projects are done on my trailer. :applause:

Last night I install the last door on my interior cabinets. All I have left to do is some sanding, sealing & trim work.

My biggest challenge on the interior cabinet was to figure out how to mount the stereo speakers. I think I came up with a interesting solution.

The speaker are designed to hang on brackets. I took the plastic cover off them. Cut 1" off the back half, ran the screws thru the door an re-attached it to the back half. BTW they are dual cone 3" speakers I got for free.

I'd love to see picture of your speaker installation! I still haven't figured out how I'm going to mount mine.

It looks like you put the speakers in the cabinet door. Did you enclose the back of the speakers? Is there any vibration problems with the door?

The top picture is the inside of the door, the bottom is the outside. The wire comes out on the hing side of the door. So far no vibration.

OK I understand now. I'm a little slow. It looks great! I guess if you don't have big bass in the speakers, vibration shouldn't be a problem.
