My first TD has P205/75 R 15 tires and I have the original spare to use as one of the tires for TD #2. A while back I bought another rim and tire to complete the pair. Today I installed one of the fenders and tried a tire just for good measure. After lowering it and leveling it out I couldn't put a finger between the fender and tire. The 27" tall tire was too tall. I was able to trade ($35 each) in the two off brand old/new tires for two Goodyear Eagles 195/65 R15 and about a hundred & four bucks. Now I have 2" + between tires & fenders. The difference in TD's is 3" vs 2 1/2" frame tubing and 3" vs 2" Dexter axle tube. It didn't occur to me this would make a difference but it did. I could have made an adjustment of about 1/2" at the axle mounting brackets but it wouldn't have been enough. An easy fix and a lighter wallet. Danny
