Windows Screens on the outside?

Postby teardropty » Tue May 20, 2008 9:52 pm

Ok, I saw a TD today with a set of windows screens mounted on the OUTSIDE of the window setup, not inside as is typical of RV construction. I am wondering how durable/reliable such a setup would actual be. Wouldn't the wind from towing down the road potentially rip the screen off?

I didn't have time to wait around for the owner to return so I could ask him. Does anyone have any thoughts on this type of design?

Don't see a problem as long as they are secured good. Maybe he removes them while towing. 8)
If it itches. scratch it

Mine are on the outside, they are mobile home windows. Never lost them yet in over 8k miles.
