You used screws to "clamp" trim then removed them and plugged the holes? Filling them with epoxy?
I really thank you guys for the information.
If you dont have time to do right the first time you sure dont have time to do it twice
I used CPES on the sides, didn't think of using it on the trim when I installed it. I used epoxy to glue the trim to the sides, and screwed it on. When dry, I rmoved the screws, and filled the holes with wooden plugs, sanded it down, and then epoxyed the whole works.....about 5 coats. After I epoxied the sides, trim, and roof, I covered that with 4 or 5 coats of varnish. I Wish I had used CPES on the trim, because after a few months uncovered the varnish and epoxy lifted on the trim and it started to turn black from moisture...(Polplar). I couldn't sand it all out, so I ended up painting the trim with Marine two part epoxy paint. If I had used CPES on the trim as I was building, I don't think that would have happened.....
