I just completed a 48 inch teardrop trailer with 8 inch harbor freight tires with standard fenders. Any one has nice fenders for sale for an eight inch tires/ I currently have the standard fenders from harbor freight.

The first set here will work for you I think.

Are the decorative fenders very sturdy? Will they hold the weight of a person or is it understood that they are not meant to hold any weigh? I know that fenders really aren't intended to be step ladders even though some people step on them. I'm just curios.

I originall manufactured those fenders and I have a set on my tear drop. Although I would not make a habit of it, I have stood on them without and problems. Some of it might depend on the number of fasteners that you use too.
