Insulation and Interior Sandwich Wall Question(?)

I am going to take a section of the camper wall with me, with a piece of the insulation and see if the insulation folks at Home Depot have any suggestions.

Perma "R" insulation will fit into the 3/4" space without a problem. It is available at Lowes.

Hey gang,

Here's the update.

I went back to home depot and got the 1/2" pink insulation, which actually appears to be a better fit than the 3/4". As said in my previous email it is slightly thinner than the framing, but very close. At least it will not ripple out.

I returned the FRP for the time being. Despite the obvious positives to this product, I could not warm-up to the plastic shower stall look, and I think I will go with some sort of interior paneling, as yet to be determined.

I appreciate all of the feedback, and will keep you all posted to progress.

Hey Al, I used the foil/bubble/ foil Insulation. some one on the forum did a little test and if I remember correctly it was the same as 3/4" foam ins.
it's much easier to work with and seems to work very well. Last fall Lynny and I went camping the temp was in the low 40s and we ended up opening a window. btw I used two layers in the roof. good luck, Walt
