Waterpump/plumbing setup of shower/sink?

How would you do it? Are there 12V electric pumps or are there pneumatic ones that pump air into the fresh water tank to force water out the spout? I'm thinking I may not worry about a shower in mine due to the difficulty level. Any secrets to share?

It could be done with gravity or an electric pump and I think I've seen examples of both here.

If you already have, or plan to have, a sink with running water, adding water for a shower is not difficult.

If you have bottled water, and are considering "running" water for a trailer, it is a bit more difficult than bottled water, but not that bad, especially when you turn the faucet on and have running water at a sink, or a nice spray in your own clean, private shower!

You'll need a storage tank, an electric pump, and the associated piping and wiring.
The electric pump pulls water from the storage tank, and pushes it to the faucets.
The on demand pumps are great! Turn on the faucet, and the pump kicks on and delivers water!
It is a fair sized job, worth it for some, but not for all.

If all this is just too much, a jug of water with a spigot works pretty well too!

For those of us who are 'challenged' at building or because of space, weight, etc. there are several other options. Some people just put a jug up higher than the faucet and run a line from that. Some people use a 12-volt water pump. For the sink area, there are also reasonably-priced faucets with a hand-pump handle that'll do the trick. If you look through the various postings here, you'll find all kinds of ideas! Another idea is to go to an RV Supply store and pick up a free catalogue 'wish book' to peruse. Deciding how and what to build can be like being a kid with a hand full of change, standing at a candy counter!

I have most of the parts just had other projects. The plan is 2 runs of 4" PVC 9' each. This should allow 12 gallon of on board pottable water. Enough for KP duty for a couple maybe 3 days and 1 or 2 quick GI showers.

These "tanks" will be supported under the belly of the tear and plumbed to both a 12 volt and a 120 volt pump these pumps will have a check ball down stream to keep one pump from backfeeding the other. They will then be plumbed into the sink in the galley. A tee fitting in the delivery line could be fitted to a hose bib or other quick connect fitting to feed the shower. A long section of small diameter black tubing could be coiled temporarly on the ground on a summy day to act as the solar water heater. Prime the tube until water flows and shut of the shower valve this will hold the water in the tube until it warms but be warned it gets damn hot if you wait too long
