I make my living working with wood, and Lee Valley's catalog sits on the top of my catalog pile...................it's the best of the best. Not the least expensive, but simply the best. I can relate to the "drooling" aspect. I do it every month. And the line of tools they have designed and built themselves are a "must have" for me. I buy every one of them I can afford. They are great people to deal with also.

I have a couple of tools similar to the wave, but cheaper and probably don't have all the same gadgets on them. I use one in my boat...very handy to have.

I totally understand this, my wife just doesn't get it though. For me it goes for almost all tools, wood, mechanic, and power tools. It just depends on what project I'm working on at the time.

Oh, I have the same weakness for electronics. It doesn't help that they opened a Harbor Freight next to Fry's, only 8 miles from my house.

Dale, your phot's are realley helpful...& the forum has done it's job again..Motivation...A trip to a woodworker..replaced all screws..The screw wrench that came the kit is toast...Damaged,is present under the magnifier..So now have new allen wrench to loosen & tighten..Not as handy but works great..So this post was helpfull...Was going to put off trying to fix this...Now it's done... vinoscooter
