I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Nice styling! However, I notice there are no lip rails for the front and back of the rack. You will have to tie down the load to keep it from slipping off the top. It looks like it is more for looks, than function.

If your rack is anything like your tear it will be awesome. Are you building aluminum or stainless?

Hello there. It is also for looks as well as for use. This will have a 2 or 3 inch front and back however. Dont know if it will ever have any real luggage on it. We,ll see though.

Good to hear from you :applause: ;)

Thank you for your kind words. Im really happy to hear that my loooong time build is liked by others. Blush Blush

We have looked at both however if the plans go as we want it will be stainless. As the bumper, step boards will also be stainless.

It will fit together very nicely. Afriend of mine who does professional stainless welding and such says it would look great on the hatch however the weight will be of concern there. So it will be on the roof.

I,ll keep you all posted to the winter advancement of the already very long time build.

Thanks again.

Best regards
