How much CPES do I need?

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

I agree with Doug, if sealing, buildup and surface leveling is your objective for a smooth, glossy finish, I would just use regular epoxy.

Here is how I use CPES:
- To seal the underside of trailer boxes, two coats, without a top coat.
- As a single coat sealer under Durabak, this eliminates the out gassing raw plywood does that causes bubbles / voids in the finish.
- On "utility" clear finishes (satin finish, without a prefectly leveled surface) to tone match the tinting of the wood that epoxy gluing of exterior corners and screw hole filling does, normally single coat. Then top coated with your preferred varnish.
