Question about the walls

Postby tnsurveyor » Thu Dec 17, 2009 1:42 am

I am looking at building a cargo type tear. It will mostly be used for utility purposes, and as a small mobile office (big enough for a laptop and printer on a small desk.

Would I be better off using 3/4" ply for the walls, or using 2x2 stud construction? I am not sure how much I would actually be using the trailer to sleep in. I might want to insulate it at a later date.

I am parcel to the RT3T, Doug H, and David Byrum's type of design. I like the squared off look.

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy

 I would decide if I was going to insulate and make my decision based on that. solid walls might suit what you want. Just get a small heater and air conditioner. ;)
