John, to get a good wrinkle free joint I think you wil haveta go down to 2/3 inches especially with out a trim piece...of course if you go 5 in and don't like the results you can come back and split the diff with more screw...also don't install screws starting at one end and going to the other...put one in the middle and one on each end and fill in alternately as you go

Say, I just went to Fastenall and they want $2.98 for a package of one screw. Am I reading this right? I'll still buy them but sheesh I don't want to pay their monthly building rental with one purchase. It's one of those whatever things.

Thanks MJ, I often have a senior moment but that's no excuse. Perhaps I didn't do the research fully enough. Thanks for your patience. (Seriously)
I'll go to the local Fastenall store next week and pick up some SS screws. Thanks to all of you for your help.

I'll second Jack on this too. Don't go more than 3" on the screw spacing. You have to squeeze down that urethane. And he's right on the screws, should be in the $7-8 range.

Thanks, ordered the urethane glue last night from Austin Hardware. About $23.00 for two tubes and shipment.
