Hey...I think it's a very viable method to create a radiused corner. Cartographers were projecting a globe onto a flat surface back in the mid 1500's. While there may be some clean up issues and fit, it's certainly an option. Doug

You could also create a former; a radiused block of wood that would fit on the inside with step cuts. Then cut curved pieces of wood from 1/4" material to nest into the steps. Sand in the radius.
