"Inside-out" kitchen/gally ?

The temps I'll be making/using my td, I rather not go outside ( unless i'm leaving camp. )... I'm thinking a tiny mircowave and an old vw bus "Icebox" will be about it, might not have tooooo much of a trear drop shape (profile) ... might look kinda canned hamm-y ...

Also... do I need a batt/12v power ?

*Thinking* just a shore connector, with wahtever breakers and a simple outlet for phone charging, maybe a small electrec heater or elec. blanket.

Poss. wireing in a tv/dvd ... maybe a microwave. ( the ice box will be power-less. ) ... + a fan & "dome light". ( almost forgot. )

Thinking keeping all the interiour power "stuff" in one corner ... and all the trailer lighting ( brakes turn signals ) under the other side of the trailer.

Sounds like a good plan to me. You do not need a battery and can use portable powered things. LED tap lights are very convenient..........

I've got an idea bouncing around in my head for a cargo conversion galley. In researching this I searched for "passthru" and came up with quite a few results. Perhaps those will help.

I am at a loss ! You are a tiny trailer person who doesn't want to come outside and join the world. Wouldn't you be happier with a class " C " motorhome. ........

OK I'll quit....

A little larger trailer like a cargo could easily utilize the rear doors as a shallow pantry with a fold up or fold down counter. On a great day you could swing open the doors and have an outside galley. However, on a cold rainy day you could utilize it inside just as easily with the doors shut.
Is this kinda where you are going with this thread ????

Er... I used the wrong words.
What I meant to say was... I dont want a hatch with a galley under it . I was thinking a mini caned ham stuffed into an "economical" ( build and towing/fuel ) teardrop, with everything accessable from the inside. I'm only planing on using it at nights, the rest of the time I'll def. be outside & away from the trailer.

I'm not much of a cook, I dont realy need so long as I can have a means heat water up I'm ok. ... & store food and water. ( with out it going bad. )

I was planing on having a matresss that rolls up and stuffs under the main storage cabinets. ( what otherwise would be a normal teardrops galley. ) that way I dont have to sit on the "bed" when I make food or change.

the plan is to have an ice box and microwave or hot plate at the front of the trailer along with all the powersuply dealios, with shore power on the pass side right outside the door. ( just incase some punk kid unplugs it in the middle of the night. )

If you are only going to camp where there is shore power, you have a do-able plan. As far as stuffing your mattress away, you might consider an inflatable. Get one with the pump permanently attached to the mattress and plug it in when you want to sleep.
