Trailer frame sizes ?

Postby Txbum » Fri Feb 26, 2010 4:41 pm

 I have a quick question regarding the trailer frame sizes for a teardrop. Is a six feet wide teardrop by 12 feet long by 5 feet tall more athestetically proportional than a 6w x 10L x 4 Tall ? Trying to decide on building a 5ft W x 4ft H x 10 ft long, 5x5x10 long, 6W x 4H x10 or 12 long or is 6W x 5H t x 10/12 long better? Thanks Richard

Richard, I think the trailer frame size depends on what style of TD you are building. A profile like the Benroy will use all the frame you have but something like Sonetpro's Fish Inn that has a curved under profile on each end will give you a longer camper but use a smaller frame length. I hope I made sense.......... :worship:

Well, here's mine that 5x5x9. I think the overall look has everything to do with the profile you pick.
