I like the idea of an old fashioned ice box and understand the principles but does anyone have any information on constructing one? I need to know about the insulation, drains etc etc.

Whilst planning my second build ( a modern-retro style 2+2) I came across the dilemma, fridge or ice box?
I like the idea of an old fashioned ice box and understand the principles but does anyone have any information on constructing one? I need to know about the insulation, drains etc etc.
