Aluminum Skin

Postby Tim Cavey » Fri Mar 19, 2010 5:00 pm

I live in the great N.W. and have been lookin for suppliers of the shinny stuff we all love so much ! My teardrop is in the end of the planning stage and I realy want the outside the way I've dreamed it would be..... The aluminum suppliers don't have the old diamond design or quilted design you see in Roach coaches that serve lunch at job sites all over the country. I probably am all wrong but is there a manufacturer of the skin I'm talkin about? I want the top of my trailer to be polished and smooth, and the sides to have that great diamond design I've always found perfect. I hope somebody out there tells me they still make it.... Caveman :) :) :)

Greetings neighbor; prior to retiring out of Boeing Auburn; we got lots of our tooling stock here:

You may want to google "quilted stainless steel". You better be sitting down when you see the prices because it will make you faint.
