Haha, laughing throughout this thread. I've got the cat, who loves to go outside but that's not safe for her and she sleeps where she pleases. Plus I've got the beagles who ignore the the dog house unless its to pick up the biscuit I threw in or possibly a sudden downpour. Too bad I'm not closer to Texas. Would like to have a look at that custom doghouse. Maybe they'd be more interested in nicer accomodations.

OK...so what we're saying is instead of a small slide out what I really need is a bubble roof turret that she will avoid unless I throw treats at her and then she'll just go wherever she wants anyway since she's a cat and persnickety?

*sigh*...yeah...that sounds about right

Yep, that purty much covers it. The cat will teach you where she wants to sleep soon enough, at which time you may need to build that slide out for yourself.....

Yes, I know "purty" is not spelled correctly, but I have checked and feel quite sure that "purty" has no correct spelling. I like the word, so the spelling is close enough....

 I don't have a cat but you could put a covered pole up to the bubble on the roof and add some mice... 8)

 Bubbles really aren't expensive wish I was home I've got a site for custom size bubbles.

Along the hamster cage line. maybe a trap door in the floor so the cat can go down below into a plexi box to see around and still be shadded. Really wouldn't need to worry about the plexi getting to hot the cat could go back into the camper.

WOW! That's pretty close. Maybe I can try something in a removable window instead of the door....and of course now with a bubble

half the size of that box, with two windows in the sides, might suit kitty just fine -- especially if there's a nice cat-bed with 'nip inside. ;)
