Made another Mistake

...how about a 1/2" piece of Al angle placed against the inside edge of the door jamb(or even a wooden piece) and the weather seal placed against that additional "jamb"...that would leave you a 1/4" gap to put your weather seal into

That's another good idea. Maybe a z strip extending to the exterior of the cabin going into the doorway. Made of aluminum and waterpoof too. And then put a nice piece of oak behind the interior part of the z. I think I'd have to go to a sheet metal shop and use their brake to make it look good.

i used a peace of 1/2"x1/2" alum. angle on the inside like madjack is saying. look at my photo album page 5 and see if that help.

Randy, I looked at pg 5 and it looks professional. Where did you find that trim? It would fit the bill easily.
