Anybody use Polymax on their Tear?

Postby BillZ » Tue Jul 06, 2010 9:58 pm

I saw the Polymax products mentioned on "Rich's list" and looked it up.

Seems to me how it is attached at the seams would be the question. I am interested in covering my tear with a plastic or vinyl of some sort and have been researching what is available. Has anybody found a way to use the board or liner products to skin their Tear?

Edit: I need to remember to do a search before asking questions.
Sometimes the search function is difficult to use effectively and I periodically dismiss it-but it worked well for polymax.

I've no experience with the stuff. Interesting idea. It certainly looks durable. I'd wonder about that expansion/shrinking. You have to leave gaps in the connecting strips to allow for it. That means leaking maybe?
Conform and be dull.

I read a few threads from a few years ago on the stuff. Apparently it expands too much in the heat to be recommended by the few who tried it.
