Not a problem. It's been many years since I worked in a steel mill and I was just trying to put some ancient memories into play. I don't remember all the the little details; but if memory serves me, it depends on whether it is hot rolled, cold rolled or extruded. Sometimes the walls of structural angle iron aren't parallel (a slight taper from outer edge to fillet... most heavy C-channel has this effect on the legs). I haven't done any steel shopping in ages; so if this information is out of date, blame it on deteriorating gray matter between the ears.
