Will 1/4" hardwood plywood easily bend around 17" & 19" radius curves?

Easy for some folks, more difficult for others. 8)

But will 1/4" plywood bend around a 17" and 19" radii? Yes.

Most use nylon straps to torture the plywood into conformance.

On the interior 17" is it easier to bend one piece throught the entire curve or bend two edges and meet in the middle.

You may want to try "pre-bending" the plywood before installing. This is a picture from Donutboy's gallery showing staps used to curve the plywood prior to installation:

Found the closest Lowes has flexi ply, pricey but worth it, no hassle and the project will be done with better results.

I'll tell you from Experience - It's a lot easier to do with one piece than trying to do it in two - The seam might not close up very well

I only use 1/8" birch and don't worry about it bot bending. 1/8" is plenty strong unless your building a flat sidded and top (no curved section, non-traditional), teardrop.

I'll second what Gage said, 1/8 BB will make a tight bend. You double it up and get 1/4 with alot less trouble and dont worry about it exploding. Not sure if you have 1/4 bendy ply available in your area but it will make a tight radius but is $$. We have it at the local hardwood stores in Sacramento

Have'nt been everywhere yet, but it's on my list.
