aluminum polishing

Postby emelford » Sun Jan 16, 2011 4:46 pm

We are building our first teardrop and it is going pretty well so far!!
Would love advice on techniques for polishing the aluminum. The aluminum was pretty shiny when we put it on but it got some scratches when it was installed. We want to polish it up nice and shiny- any suggestions for what works best?
Much appreciated!

Check out aviation forums....quite a few airplane builders polish instead of painting to save weight.... Sonex Aircraft is probably the most polished kit...
