Over Sized Floor Frames

Postby Postal_Dave » Thu Jan 27, 2011 3:40 am

Hey Everyone,
I think I have finally come up with a design for my TTT that I can live with, but I need your help. I have a 5' X 8' Northern Tool, bolt together trailer and the design I made is going to call for a 6'8" X 9' wooden frame to build the body on.

If anybody out there has built an over sized floor frame for a trailer and has pictures of it, Please post them for me or put up the link so I can see them. Also, could you Please tell me what type of wood you made it out of. :worship:
I want to build this frame so that it will be solid and safe, for traveling at highway speed, or faster.

Thanks everyone,
Dave

Here's how I extended a 4' frame to 5'6"

A 5' frame done the same way would take you to exactly to 6'8".
