Window Idea from Tiny House article

Postby TwilightLane » Sun Feb 27, 2011 10:52 pm

Hey has anyone tried this. I was reading this article about tiny houses: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/24/garde ... ref=garden. I know I know, _another_ article about tiny houses.

But the bit that caught my attention was a window he used. He used a porthole door from a high-efficiency washer as a window. Anyone seen that?? I know a used washer-dryer place near me and I'm tempted to see if they can get me a pair.

I think miss Hailey should have one of these. She should stay warm if turned into the sun.

Still have the chuckwagon to finish before the Crossroads of America gathering in July. I am in hopes of getting the 4x7 finished for the fall gathering. Gonna tow it with the Goldwing if the gathering is somewhere reasonably close.

Need to get the box knocked off and take accurate measurments to determine rough size and wheel placement in relation to the box then i can rough something out. Looks like 7 high with an 18" observation turret above that 8' wide by almost 16' plus two 32" boarding platforms.
