Okay guys - question?
After installing the insulation can I install a vapor barrier, then put the wood down?

How are you coating the outside? I would have a hard time seeing vapor getting through epoxy.

I do believe that rigid foam insulation is a vapor barrier.

I am making a shower unit so I will be doing a vapor barrier in the bathroom walls.

The big problem for you there is that if you use a plastic vapor barrier you lose the wood on wood contact for glueing.

have not heard anyone using it,i know in a house the wrong kind can cause more problems :thinking:

I would have the frame with infilled foam (tight joints) and just fiberglass the inside. Strong, waterproof, and you can make whatever shape you wanted. You could even make a built in sink, if you wanted.
