FRP "Woodie"

I have been mulling over FRP and I am thinking about using colored FRP panels. I then began to think about PVC "wood" used for exterior house trim. How cool would it be to skin the exterior with FRP then lay on top a woddy style grid moulding. I could even make my corner molding out of this stuff using the same techniques other use on wood. The PVC trim lumber is supposed to be able to work and machine like wood. I have no idea what the price of the stuff is though. I am going to build on the cheap once I get up and going.
I want to build one on the cheap and quickly to be able to use next summer. I wont be able to start on it until next spring. So I am formulating idas for the now build and ideas for the second longer term build. I see some guys on here take years to build, and they really have some quality to show for it.
