I have a Coleman sportcat 1000 btu catalytic tent heater that I had planned on using, but I don't think i will ever camp in a condition where it will be needed. I tried using it at the beach last weekend in 40-50 degree temps and it put out too much heat. A blanket and my dog suit me just fine. I was gonna put it on ebay but if anyone on here wants it let me know. $20 plus shipping

Well was 18' when I went to bed last nite, 16' when I woke up. My propane nuway heater did an awesome job of keeping the vardo very comfortably warm.

Although I did learn something this weekend... turn the heater on about 2 hours before bedtime. The vardo heats up in like 15 minutes...the memory foam topper was solid like a rock lol.

The Nu-way wood stove is the exact same size as my propane model. If your a light sleeper and can wake up in the middle of the night and add wood, then go for it, but I will warn you, the metal is not very thick that its made out of. Go for the propane model, the 9000 btu would be fine for the average teardrop, if you have more space then go for the 16000 btu model. I was doin some "arranging" this afternoon and a friend pulled up and he could see the waves of heat coming out the open door.

It does drink the propane, have gotten 6 nights out of it, and about a 12 hour day i had it burning to get the smell out of it and the propane bottle is feelin a bit light, might pick up a spare before I head down next time. But overall Im very happy with it!
