Fiberglass sheets

I'm building a 5x8 TD and was considering skinning it with fiberglass. Does anyone know a supplier that would have suitable fiberglass material that will work. Thanks for the help.

I've seen 4x8 fiberglass sheets at home depot. They call them FRP panels and they have a rough texture on one side and smooth in the other.
BTW you could glass it yourself with fiberglass cloth and resin - messy though

I found FRP at a salvage yard. It was from a shower enclosure manufacturer that went out of business. It was on rolls 6' 8" wide.
I got enough to do the outside walls, inside walls, floor, and outside roof for 108.00............
I used an electric shear to cut it like butter.
Finished my tear in May of 07.
No problems to date.

I've built with both frp and aluminum and liked the aluminum much better as much lighter in weight than the frp and much less mess dealing with trimming and cutting. If you need longer than 8ft lengths of the frp lookup glassice sales rep for your area and find who carries it and they might have 10 ft and 12 ft lengths available.

Most box stores sell FRP sheets. I've had zero problems with my FRP and its only held in place with poly urethane glue.

Thanks guy's, we had almost decided to go all wood. I'm going to look into the FRP. Someone said " once you have a picture of what it will look like you"ll change your mind". I believe it. Thanks again.
