Woodworking and contacts

Postby Forrest747 » Sat Jul 21, 2012 12:30 pm

I dont wear contacts. I should wear glasses to read but I am too vain.

I decieded to have the wife and i to do a project for a 6 year old niece of hers. To make an art easel. simple cuts and drilling clamping and staining. not too hard. Yet last night after the first cuts she complained about dust in her eyes and contacts. yes we wore safety goggles. is this normal or just eye drops. I hae gotten dust in my eyes but always blinked it out.

Yes, that's normal. I'm a cabinetmaker. Optometrist said no way when I asked about contacts.

Best,
