In regards to Tractor Supply Valspar Tractor and Implement paint versus the new TSC Majic Tractor,Truck and Implement paint. I also used the Valspar on my exterior. I was well pleased with the results, though I painted in 105-110 temps and used NO hardener for two reasons: the high temperatures would've caused too rapid drying (I didn't want it to crack), or pull apart from the polyurethane I was overcoating (I let it cure for a week between coats, the same with the poly). I used the TSC Valspar because it was chemically similar to the polyurethane (both had urethane resin as part bases). The TSC Majic brand replacement paint should be OK for interiors, and in most exterior colors (some are reported to fade in sunlight) and it reportedly dries slower (needs hardener). Its' alkd resin base is soy-based, according to some, and won't be quite the same as the older Valspar. I wish I had bought more of the old stuff; I fortunately have some left for future use.
