front window

Sorry if this has been discussed thoroughly, I've looked through and can't seem to find it. We are wanting a window in the front and probably won't put any kind of overhang on the outside to cover it. Is this a terrible idea which will cause leaks in your experience?

Thanks! :)

Thats why many of the commercial travel trailer companies no longer put windows in the front of their trailers. It certainly can be done and has been by a few on the forum. Haven't seen any post where any leaks have been reported. I'm debating with myself whether or not to have a small window on the front of my standy build.

Besides wind-driven rain leaks, rocks and road debris kicked up by your tires are another issue to be addressed.

Put in an RV window with a stone guard and you have no problems and instant awning as well.

Something like this
