Galley almost done

I had to take a couple days off but got a little closer to finishing the cabinets today, I still have to stain a clear these but I have to add a cabinet above the counter
and a set of drawers on either side of the icebox that also needs to be painted.
The section between the cabs and in front of the ice box will slid back when the hatch opens,The sink will go in the slide out section on the left.

What a great use of space I can see you are going to land the hatch on the base of the cabinets, so what happens to the hole in the middle.

That will have a retractable floor that sldes back when the hatch opens,
I just havent built that part yet. I wanted to get all the cabinetes done before I built the mechanism that pulls the middle floor back.
I am going to put a set of drwers on both sides of the icebox tomorrow.

I ordered two 10 gallon water tanks to fit in on either side of the icebox

20 gallons of water storage?

Have you been documentating this build and the exact specs/measurements as you've been going along? This is a build that people are gonna wanna copy to the letter, if they think thay CAN.

The word "outstanding" doesn't do it justice, and believe it or not, there isn't even a YIDDISH word to describe it.

Thanks Ira! I bought two 10 gallon tanks to start with, I have room for two more if if I need them. I want to try a weekend with 20 gallons and see how long that lasts. My last camper had a pretty large water tank but I never took the time to see how much water it held. Do you think 20 gallons isnt enough or to much? I know it will be heavy when full but I wont be hauling it with the tanks full. How big are your water tanks everyone? Thanks Again Ira! Aaron

For a weekend, one weekend, you will MAYBE use 5, 6 gallons.

Showers? Add a gallon or two--but I'm sure you have separate tanks planned just for that anyway.

I'm just saying that you're not gonna use much water for a few days, putting showers aside.

But who am I to say ANYTHING to you in the first place, after looking at that build of yours!?

Thanks again! I just hate to have to conserve water while camping,I am
kinda weired when it come to being clean,almost a compulsive disorder, plus my wife lets the water run all the time and forgets it's even on sometimes! (she is blonde) If it turns out I have to much water I will remove one of the tanks and put something else in its place.
I have planned out a place for most everything I can think of,when the retractable floor is in place I will have a nice storage area for an ice chest,
folding chairs,lanterns and the detachable bar that will connect to the stove pull out. I cant wait to take this baby out! I bought a pair of chrome rally wheels that match the rims on my pickup ,now I have to start looking for some fenders! Thanks! Aaron
