Hmm. Tan is a difficult color to reproduce. It looks a little peach to me. *shrugs*

I gave it a go. Took a sample of color off your door hinge.

Ah - much better than my attempt. Funny thing is that door hinge is actually the same color as the aluminum trim. I guess the sun setting gave it a tan color appearance in that photo.

I will look even better if you carry the stripes thru the door. It will also not draw attention to the fact that the bottom of the door does not align with the bottom black strip. Just my thoughts.

Oh no, no, no. No striping the door - I like the contrast of the white door and dark stripe area. :D

I'm with ya on the blue stripe/black strakes, and as for the bottom of the door not aligning...do you mean the bottom of the door doesn't sit flush with the bottom of the upper strake? There is about the same amount of space above the door to the roof as there is below the door to the strake.

Thanks for the input.

I'm with Mark, paint the door (or at least try it out in a picture to see what it looks like).

Looks pretty good to me. But I won't be looking at it everyday and maybe thinking I should have painted it the way I wanted it in the first place... ;)

I think I prefer the white door. I won't be looking at it everyday either - I'll be inside with the cool disco ball & lime green shag carpet.

Oh My! :o

Ummm.

Do you vacuum it, or mow it?

Good find.

I'm *so* not doing that.

I need a shower now.

I bought a 70s van that looked just like that. All the dash knobs were coming out of the shag.

Whatever works for you Steve. I would have had the lower strake line up with the bottom of the door to split the accent line clean if I was keeping the door white. Maybe even have wrapped the accent all the way around the trailer as well. After all, it is just paint, doesn't add much cost but adds lots more visual appeal.

A front and back window would be nice too!
