You boys are welcome to come on down and try working in this kind of heat.

You Northerners will need your insurance cards. 8)

Chipper, You're right. I built mine over "warm" winter here in Indiana. I was lucky, but the extremes always seem to be more noticable when you're building a teardrop. You want to make progress but it's too darned hot to enjoy it. Take a break and cool down, then get back to it.

Julie, In the end, all the hard (hot work) will be worth it. That first night out will be long remembered.

Hang in there!! You'll love it plus you'll have a great story t tell.

:) :) Julie I work for a Mobile home co. I multi task. One day stay in office selling parts.Next day go out into the field with the guys and work on double wides doing the trim work tape and float texture and paint.Or I could be installing skirting or doing repair work on a repo trailer. Always something different going on. I love working outside the best. I go home dirty sweaty and tired. I don't take the heat like I used to. I must be getting old.   Take care Peg

It has been about 107 in the building. As I have the AC installed and the outer skin on, I turn on the AC and then crawl inside for a break.
Hey, it works!

I've already got my AC for the tear, don't have the shelf installed yet but it is cut out and I could just set it in there and plug it in. DUH! No roof yet! Remember what mom would say when you left the door open , or kept running inside and out? hahaha

Everybody stay cool!!! I didn't even bring my stuff inside yet , to work on. Definitely by this weekend !!!
