Foam Rubber Ceiling?

Sounds like Ensolite to me... That's the stuff that was used as interior insulation in the Bolers and older Scamps. Works great, easily washed and/or painted and is easy to work with. Seams can be rough though. The fiberglass trailer manufacturers usually covered the seams with a foam tape. Many people when sprucing up their trailers tore off the tape and filled the seams with caulk.

I was thinking of installing it between the exposed, varnished roof spars which could eliminate the ceiling plywood and the insulation inbetween it and the roof ply. This might reduce cost and would reduce weight somewhat.
