looking for advice---restarting the galley.

Anything to do with mechanical, construction etc

Miriam,

I do not know if you plan to do this but this is what I would do. Probably giving more basic direction and if you have a plan feel free to ignore me(I am used to it - wife does it all the time)

1. drill pocket holes in counter - 1 every 6"-8" is plenty
2. clamp a wide board against the side of your trailer that will support the counter at the height you want the counter on each side. Board should go from floor to counter height
3. Screw counter to sides and remove boards

One of the nice things about doing it this way is that now you have the height of your cabinets already measured(you can measure your support pieces and cut the sides of your under-counter cabnets and your counter can act as the top of your cabinets.

Thanks Diver guy. I bought the single Kreg so the instructions were limited and are who knows where they are. I just love it

Sounds like good advice Rick. Thank you. I guess I will stack the rest of the tower on the counter and call it good. Glue the daylights out of it. :R

:applause: Well it is pulled in for now. :worship: I guess I can quit backing up for a day or so. This is the beginning of the new (again) galley. My bones hurt so I quit for TD puter time.

 K so I'm a redneck. I need a redneck truck. Something from the 40's.

Brick I remembered a picture like that when I started to put the racks on my roof. Changed my mind about where I was shopping and what I was buying.

That Jetta is an old pic, I wondered if it was a photocrop. Apparently it isn't.
