;) Thanks guys. I heal fast and it doesn't hurt right now. Orudus KT is great. Only takes one. Having to squeeze it on the way to the Urgent Care was what hurt and the sadist there. I mean what happened to locals.

Gotta tell ya the funny. The clerk decided I should keep pressure on it cause it was bleeding bad so she took a vocal. That is where they ask the questions you don't normally read or Pay attention to.

Question one: Do we have permission to treat you? So I, of course laughed and she had to think about it. I finally told her " I'm here aren't I." She actually needed me to say yes.

Ouch Auntie Miriam!!!! Don't move your hand like you were told and heal fast. I got a pretty good cut on my little finger and it did not have anything to do with the tear drop. I accidently got it caught between a coil and a flywheel on my lawn tractor while trying to adjust the coil. Oh well
it only hurts for a little while. Huh!!! OK, sorry take care of your self.

Auntie M, I wish you a speedy recovery! I feel your pain too - I'm in construction, and if I didn't scrape or cut something usually means I didn't do anything that day.

As far as the edging strip is concerned, I'm with Madjack. The self-sticking stuff didn't and the glued edging... Just picture that commercial - "who, who are you calling a monkey!!!" At least that's what I think I looked like helplessly trying to apply it... Having 8 arms and 23 clamps might have helped.

To trim the excess off I use a regular utility knife and a sanding block, after the hot melt glue has completely cooled off(about 20-30 mins for me).

Again, get well soon!

Thanks for the boo boo kiss. :D

Dean a rotary cutter is a round razor blade. No meat grinding just bad cuts. This is the little monster. Thanks for the well wishes.

Used carefully and with a mat it is safe. Not something you leave out with kids.

Ow.
No stitches? Wow.

And now you too have a tear baptized in blood ... but, um, how is it a good thing to be cut with a dull blade?

Girl these cutters will go through multi-layers of material like it is butter when new. I even use one as a seam ripper because it is sharper and faster than a razor. As it is it filleted my finger. New blade might have removed most of the top of my finger. They really can be dangerous when not used right.

Huh!!!... Aint never seen one of those before, is that something more related to sewing and quilting, kinda like a real sharp pizza cutter for cloth material maybe???
If so, I'd probably would've known if TDN woulda let me buy a sewing machine, but she was right... I gotta finish a couple of projects first before delving into something totally new.

BTW-If I'm right about that being kinda like a pizza cutter... The worser of the two injuries you have there, is termed a "Scoop" by glaziers, 'cause yaa totally took a scoop outta yourself... "Flaps" are a scoop that are still connected by skin and "Horseshoes" are flaps that still have lotta meat holding it on.

 Dean you are right. I have a horseshoe. It went deep. New blades cause the scoops unless it goes all the way through.
