Steve, Cutting that hinge trim back is what I wanted to do, but I didnt know if I should. But now with yours and MJ go ahead, I will trim it back and make it purdy!

Steve W, Well CrapeOla :fb I see what you are saying and I have no fargin idea where that water will drain. :fb FRIGGINFRAGGINPOOPYPANTS!!!!

I'm having a Scarlet O'Hara moment right now, and I just dont give a BEEP, and I will worry about it another day....

 It will probably drain into the galley when I open the hatch... :fb :Oh Brother: :fb

Thanks for the headsup, though. I will keep an eye onit if I EVER get it done enough to let it get wet.

Mary, you can build with the best of them. I'm glad we're opposite coasts.

MK....Love the Pix...super work! Beautiful job on ALL the edge moldings.
Hey, what kind of hinge is that on the hatch?
BTW...don't worry about where the water will go...you will find out during the first rain storm...Problem Solved!! :)

I do have a question though - how do you keep the water from pooling on top with the trim creating a box up there?

Drive really fast. 8) I just realized mine was that way too.

Bledsoe3, Thank ya!! :D I have a friend in Tacoma that wants me to visit with the TD. But I am not driving that far. uhuh!

Thank you too Mr Buzz, that is a Plastic Hinge or a Living Hinge from McMaster-Carr http://tinyurl.com/2bsq2h

Arthur, Thank You. Ya know, It really was not all that bad putting in those plugs. I did not do them all at once, so that might have helped.

Sanding them down is going to the problem. :disappointed:
