The PVC in the galley is just the duct work for the AC. It runs from inside the "cabin" to under the rear to connect to flex duct that hooks to the "rigged" window shaker. Much like many have done for "pet cool" connections. I also removed the controls and thermostat from the AC unit and installed them in the tear. I made a jumper cord for the wire connections using trailer light plugs. Not rocket science, and lots cheaper than a petcool. I'll try to get some pictures of the AC unit this weekend when the tear comes out of storage for more progress!

Had a couple of days to work on the tear. I think it may really be ready for camping in February.

Trim done, sides epoxied and varnished.

Vinyl installed on roof, waiting on edge trim.

Nice Job. Question on your vinyl. How wide is your Tear? And where did you purchase the vinyl? Mine is 57" wide and all the vinyl I have been able to find is 54". I really did not want a seam. Dave

Really a great job!!! I like that profile, looks wonderful as a woody...so what's up with all the stacked ply...other tears in the works? Betcha can't build just one! :lol:

What a beauty...you did wonderful work on the teardrop. Enjoy the many hours of ooohhs and aaahhhs to come for all your effort. It truly become a labor of love when you build one like this.

been wondering how vertical grain would look on the outside, I like it :thumbsup:

The vinyl top looks sweet, wonder how it will hold up to the elements.

In my opinion the vinyl will hold if its the proper outdoor type such as Marine Vinyl or equivalent..
