What a great idea  I'm with Martha, this pattern would show up really well in a quilt.

This same pattern is available in a heavy embossed wallpaper.Talk about easy to bend.... It would take a real good adhesive and you would have to clearcoat over to keep it from peeling but with the right paints and the right glaze for contrast as patina it look exactly like a tin ceiling. My son has it done in his little cottage house. I looks like the real mcCoy.
Growing older but not up !

Doug, I was looking at those Pattern punched craft panels next to the extruded aluminum at lowes the other day and thought about doing my cabinet doors in those. Do you think the tin panels would hold up after say crossing the speed bumps in the camp ground with a can of pork and beans in the cabinet?

Mark

I'm backing them with 1/8" baltic birch painted black just for such a happening. They aren't true tin either, steel with a tin plate on them. Doug

OH MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! :o I TOLD Mike we should of done that!  I just love that tin punch look. Good luck with it. Let me know how it goes. Now that we have Cashcow just about complete inside, we want to change the fabric on the doors. Dont like it now... :wacky ;) guess we are back to the design stage of how we want the inside of the doors to look...... good luck
