I messed up on that one Boodro, i cut out the door without subtracting for the frame so now the matress will be about 6 inches i think. I could cut it again and put it together with pocket hole screws and put some wood putty in the cut and you'd never see the line but then id have to paint it but i really wanted to stain it cause i used cabinet grade plywood.

CHANGE ORDER:
After reading your post again, i will have to cut the doors bigger, and end up painting instead. When i test sat (?) in the door my head hit the top anyway so i would like a bigger door. Ah design on the fly, thats what keeps it interesting

My neighbor gave me a small generator yesterday so i can have power in the boondocks

klattin3 , I know about design on the fly!!! :( there seems to be alot of change orders when doing a build. Thinking 5 steps ahead from where you are is the most difficult part! :o But ya have to stay ahead of yourself to keep the changes to a minimum. Good luck & keep the pics coming, thats how we help ya we can see the issues before it becomes a REAL issue.( hopefully we can) Keep it up!  Always think ahead before doing.

:applause:  Way to go Keith. You can still have a woody with out paint. Get some more wood and cut new doors. A small variation in the ply won't show bad and you can always use a completely different wood and say you meant that. ;)
