...the PetCool is a self contained 2500btu AC and 2000btu heater in one unit, similar in construction to the old style moblie home AC units...they are about 16"s square and weigh under 50#s...however they cost nearly 500 bucks ...we used to be able to get them for around 300 bucks but prices have gone up...

My costs look like they are going to come in on the low side of what every one else is saying. Having all of your tools already really will make a difference. Tool costs can add up faster than the trailer costs. Also, read this forum religiously. These folks will keep you from making expensive mistakes. Other than that, make sure and build what you want. If you don't have the money, wait rather than build something that you won't be happy with. These little trailers will last for a long time.
