Painting PVC pipe (for a changing room frame)

I built a couple of hockey goals with PVC. I used some outdoor furniture grade PVC that I found on the internet. No ink marks on the tubing or anything like that, and it has a better finish, UV protection. and was a more rigid material then the plumbing stuff. They also had all the fittings, and the color was a true white. I wanted white, so I did not check for other colors.

I neveer even knew that there were differant grades of pvc pipe. That is good to know.
