Wow you did get alot done! This has got to be one of the most satisfying parts is putting up the walls and seeing that you are actually building a teardrop! ! Good job!

Yeah, you're right! My wife is happy... they commented that I got more done on it in a day than I had in the past 8 months!

Oh, and here's the pic I meant to post. I still had the other one in the clipboard from the Tears & Dogs thread...

Got a little more work done today. I put in the ceiling and built all six cabinet doors for the galley. I still have to do some finishing work on the doors. I'll have a pic of them soon. Here's my tear out in the sun (and humidity):

Oh, by the way, I am really tempted to R&R the axle so that it sits on top of the leaf springs. I know some people have done that with HF trailers... any down side? It should make the trailer sit more level with my car, as well as improving the aesthetics a bit.

I did it with mine and haven't come across any disadvantages as yet. I do know the couple inches difference makes sitting in the doorway a lot more comfortable. It just seems to be a more natural angle. Since your galley counter is all ready in, it may change the comfort level when working there (ergonomics!!).

Where did you get the info to plot out the curves for your Cub? I just posted a similar question for my impending build.

Sorry, I've been really busy (not with the teardrop, unfortunately)... I used the profile from the Generic Benroy plan.

So, I decided a while back that I didn't like my cheapo particle board cabinet face (which was to be painted), so I ripped it out and went with pine. This is my very first attempt at making a face frame and cabinet doors. I think it turned out pretty well, thanks to my Kreg jigs and clamps! These are going to be the upper galley cabinets. I have the lower one done, too... just have to mount the door hinges.

Been really busy working on the wife's house... trying to get it on the market soon. I finally got a weekend to work on the TD! I got the lower cabinet doors and face frame installed. It's starting to look good!
