+2 on pre-finishing. I like woodworking but I don't like finishing. If you're time constrained like most of us are, and don't mind spending a little more, I think some of the pre-finished birch ply, drawer sides, etc. are the way to go.

Lots of ways to skin a cat -- all of them painful.

No matter what you do there will be challenges. If you can work to decent tolerances (1/8 in) it shouldn't matter too much -- seems like you could to one side and the galley wall together -- that way you still get access, but the sidewall gets braced as well, then add the final side when you are ready. In the end it may not matter so much, but certainly o reason you couldn't.

Thank you for the advice. I started to build it today. Had to get Charley in the garage just as it was raining. So we startd to build the bulkhead and ran out of screws. I am so glad kids cant read minds. So i cut as many of the pieces i could and after i get more screws tonight i will assemble tomorrow.

I realize that I'm a bit late on my entry into this thread but I have one small thought to interject. Be sure to consider the type of mattress you are going to want in the trailer. I wanted a "real" mattress so I built my bulkhead so the bottom portion was removable so I could slide my mattress in from the back. After that I closed everything up and installed my galley cabinets. Everything is still removable in case I need to replace the mattress in the future. Just my 2¢ worth...
