Hi all... Thanks for your comments. As promised, I snapped a few quick shots of the buid so far.
Here is the teardrop with the side walls, interior front wall and floor attached to the trailer. The roof will be attached to the luan-shell sidewalls (driver side shown here). When the roof is lifted, the luan-shell will become the walls of the upper expansion.
Here is a view through the front wall opening. This opening is for a future shower/toilet expansion. Support springs and window holes are visible. The shape of the front is seen here. This 3-edged dome will raise up with the roof and side shell.
And finally, a view of the interior through the rear galley. The arrow points to one of the support springs that, when the roof/shell is raised, will lock into a straight vertical position, adding support. More braces can then be added for stability.
Well, there it is thus far. Not as pretty as I hoped. So much to do yet. Probably, would have done a thousand things differently, but I am forging ahead again.
