
By the way, I'm going to put trailer brakes on it so it will be well under the rated capacity of 2700 lbs for my Outback. So don't go reporting me to the Mounties, or any other state agency for that matter!

As far as it being too big for a classic teardrop design, all I can say is the price is right, compared to the 5x8 from redtrailers.com for $599 plus 155 shipping. Those savings are going to pay for half of this trailer. I'm too cheap to think about this any other way.
So hopefully I can come back here for advice throughout the build, especially with electrical questions. When that time comes, I am going to need major help...like how does electricity work?
