Yes, it is a For Sale sign. I've only seen her one time, and that was in Minden and the sign was on the trailer then.
Chris :D

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.

Is that a "For Sale" on Margies Tear?
What's up with that? I hate to think of her getting out of Teardropping!!!!
Let us know!
Cheers,

Yep, she's calling it quits. She's 83 and feels it's time. Minden was the first place she put the signs on both the car and the tear. The trip to Minden kind of made up her mind that it was time to step down. She may be at Sweetwater next year (if she doesn't sale the tear & car before then) but for the most part, this is her last year.

She's asking $25,000 for the pair. A good deal for someone

I spent 5 days, at Minden, camped adjacent to Margie, and yes, her teardrop is for sale. Her Pontiac is also for sale and she would like to sell it as a package unit. It has become too much of a hastle for her to continue using her trailer, as she has to drive some distance to pick it up from her son's place, take it home, load it with all that she needs while camping, and then when she returns home, go through the whole prosess again, unloading the rig and returning it to storage.

Unless I am mistaken, this one-of-a-kind sweetheart is 82 years old. She loves to attend our gatherings with her little dog, and is a delight to chat with. I can't remember exactly what she is asking for her matching units, but I think she is asking 26 thousand for both of them. Actually, I am surprised that she didn't manage to sell it at Minden. I followed her bumper for 1400 miles, as she drove all that way to attend the Minden Gathering. If you have never met this delightful lady, you have missed out on one of the most interesting gals involved in our TD lifestyle.

Roly, hoping I can do as well when I am her age. (Hmmm, only another 9 years away...........just keep those birthdays coming.)
