I use commercial hinges and they are screwed in like a regular door where you can not get at the screws at all. Commercial hinges are made so the pin can not be removed !!

I may do that on my new build too. You might google geared hinge. These are like piano hinges but use gearing to turn.

Well here is my 2 pennies worth... it really does not matter on how the door / window is done... all locks and many other different "security" type stuff only slow down the would be criminal and they just keep the honest person honest. with battery power tools like sawzalls and what not will not stop them if they want in. I have learned to keep my valuables in my TV. or in my house during the storage times.. I learned the hard way with my old MH. I open all cabinets unhang the curtains ETC. so the would be thief would see there is nothing of value to still.. when there is noting in there for them to still less likely they will break in and damage your trailer and stuff! my old HM used the hurricane type hing on cubby doors and on the main door had the gear one ( looks similar to the hurricane type ) they just took a battery powered saw and cut the hinges off and they used a hammer or some thing on the glass.. $20000 MH was totaled.

even my TVs I don't have tinted windows stereos ( just a radio ) and I leave them unlocked... because if there going to get in it and still stuff I would rather replace a $30 radio than a $200+ window...
